>> How do I save an alert?
Please click on our webinar "How to save email alerts" or click on the job search tab and run the search that you require to save as an alert. When on the results page click Email Alert and a white box will appear. Either select an existing email alert to replace then click Overwrite existing or enter what you would like to call the alert in the name field and click Create new.
>> How do I edit an email alert?
Click on the tab My Insight then select the alert under Notifications by clicking the "Edit your search" icon (hover the mouse over each icon to see description). This will take you to the search page. Make your changes and then run this search by clicking Search. When on the results page click Email Alert and a white box will appear. Either select the existing email alert to replace then click Overwrite existing.
>> All my saved searches are not coming through on the spread sheet that is attached to my email alert?
Each alert has its own separate tab on the spread sheet each tab is named after the name of the alert and is shown at the bottom of the spread sheet.
I've noticed that not many leads have come through over the weekend and on Monday morning?
Employers/ Agencies tend not to post adverts over the weekend and therefore the alerts for Sunday and Monday will usually have fewer results. The system updates each night and therefore the report/ email alert that you receive on a Monday morning is created on a Sunday night and therefore would contain jobs posted on Sunday.
>> I haven't received my email alerts?
Have you checked your spam filter and junk mail folders? If you still cannot find them then please a support request above. In the interim you can manually send the email alerts to yourself by clicking on the My Insight tab. In the notifications area, click the icon “send notification emails”. To manually send the alerts please click the speech bubble.
>> How do I delete an alert?
Click on the My Insight tab then go to the notifications area. This will show you all the alerts that you have in place. In order to delete the alert please click on the scissors on the far right hand side.
>> I do not have a My Insight tab?
This is because your screen resolution is too small. Please either speak to your internal IT team or hold down the ctrl button on your keyboard and scroll your mouse out until you reach the desired screen size.
>> I am getting results with locations all across the UK when I only selected a certain region?
When selecting a location only put a tick in the box of the region you require. For example if you required the West Midlands then only put a tick in the West Midlands box, you do not need to put a tick in England and West Midlands.
>> I am getting irrelevant adverts in my search results that have no relevance to the skills/ job titles that I have searched for?
You cannot use the words OR AND or NOT, or brackets and commas. If you do put these words in the system, Insight will search for them. If you require an OR search please use keywords or the any words section and leave a space in between the words/ phrases (this will automatically generate an OR search for you). If you require an AND search please use the all words.

>> I am searching for a specific phrase however the system is bringing back very generic results?
If you are searching for a phrase i.e. web developer, please remember to put the phrase in speech marks. If you have not the system would look for web or developer rather than web developer.
>> I am trying to log in on a colleagues license however I cannot seem to access the system?
Insight is based on a one user per license basis therefore you would not be able to login on using a colleagues license. The system will lock itself down to the original users computer. Logins therefore cannot be accessed by any others in the business. If you would like more licenses please speak to a member of the sales team.
>> I am unable to download the results page to an excel sheet?
On the results page click export results to excel. If you use Internet Explorer a yellow bar should then appear at the top of your screen. Right click on this bar and select to download file, the results page should then refresh. If you again click export results to excel a box should appear which asks if you would like to open the excel sheet or save the excel sheet. The excel sheet has now downloaded.
>> How do I return to my search results once I am looking at the company overview page?
On the top right hand side of the company overview page there is a button titled return to search results. This link will take you back to your original results page.
>> I am looking at an advert how do I return to the results page?
To return to the results page simply click backspace on your keyboard and this will return you to the exact page of the results that you left.
>> I want to change a user to an alternative name and/or email address. How can I do this?
